QA1 X Series Rod Ends are an excellent choice for 4-link and ladder bar applications. They feature metal to metal support for heavy shock loads and increased cross-sectional thickness for greater tensile strength. The heat treated ball is chrome plated and the heat treated chromoly steel body is coated for corrosion resistance. • The bushing in the Johnny Joint® rod ends are made with a high density, "tough 88" urethane that encases the inner ball
• Its a very durable material and it is impervious to weather
• The special ball is manufactured from high carbon heat treated steel for extra strength
• The joints are lubricated via zerk fitting on the outer shell
• The forged bodies are made from 1045 heat treated steel
• The retaining washers are machined from heat treated 4340 steel and feature a snap ring safety machined into their face
